Look at what Disney did with Percy Jackson. They took a beloved property, stayed true to the spirit of the source material, but gave it a modern production value that made it feel fresh. If Steinberg and Shotz can do for the Rangers what they did for Percy, we’re in for a treat.
Establishing a strong foundation in Season 1 without the crutch of legacy cameos might actually be the best way to ensure the franchise lasts another 30 years. And let’s be real: if the show is a hit, you know the crossovers will happen eventually. Multiverse stories are the hottest trend in Hollywood right now; Hasbro isn't going to leave money on the table forever.
