Welcome back to The Fan Club! If you’ve been following our Facebook page, you know we live and breathe all things pop culture. From the morphing grid to the multiverse, we love seeing our favorite heroes kick some serious villain butt.
Lately, the buzz in the superhero world has been off the charts. As we head further into May 2026, everyone is talking about the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the massive hype surrounding Avengers: Doomsday. But it got us thinking, what if Zordon wasn't just looking for "teenagers with attitude" in Angel Grove? What if he reached across the pop culture multiverse to recruit the ultimate squad?
The Power Rangers have always been about teamwork, color-coded aesthetics, and giant robots. So, we’ve put together a list of the top 10 heroes from movies, TV, and games who would perfectly fit the mold of a Ranger.
Grab your morphers, because it’s Morphin’ Time!
10. Miles Morales (Spider-Man) – The Red Ranger

Starting off strong, we have the heart of the Spider-Verse himself, Miles Morales. With Spider-Man: Brand New Day set to hit theaters this July, Miles is more relevant than ever. He’s the perfect candidate for a Red Ranger because he embodies the "rookie leader" trope.
Miles has the agility, the unique "venom blast" (which feels very much like a Ranger special move), and a suit that already looks like it belongs in a high-budget sentai series. Imagine Miles calling upon a Spider-Zord that can scale skyscrapers and trap giant monsters in energy webs. His journey from a kid with powers to a leader of his own Spider-Team mirrors the classic Red Ranger arc perfectly.
9. Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars) – The White Ranger

If the Power Rangers need a mystical, legendary warrior to join the ranks mid-season, Ahsoka Tano is the one. Just like Tommy Oliver transitioned into the White Ranger, Ahsoka represents growth, wisdom, and a unique connection to a greater power (the Force).
Ahsoka’s dual-wielding combat style would translate beautifully to the Ranger aesthetic. We can already see her white-and-silver armor gleaming as she summons a Convor-Zord (inspired by Morai) to dive-bomb enemies from the atmosphere. Her experience training under Anakin Skywalker gives her that "veteran mentor" vibe that every great Ranger team needs.
8. Nightwing (Dick Grayson) – The Blue Ranger

The Blue Ranger is often the heart or the tactical brain of the team, and nobody does "tactical acrobat" better than Dick Grayson. Transitioning from Robin to Nightwing was his way of finding his own identity, much like how many Rangers find their strength through their connection to the grid.
Nightwing’s Escrima sticks are basically ready-made Ranger weapons. He’s fast, he’s a leader, and his blue-and-black color scheme is iconic. His Zord? A Wing-Zord, a high-tech, stealth jet that forms the arms of the Megazord, allowing for lightning-fast strikes.
7. Master Chief (Halo) – The Silver Ranger

Sometimes, a team needs a heavy hitter. Enter John-117, the Master Chief. In the world of Power Rangers, the Silver or Gold Ranger is usually the powerhouse with the most advanced tech. Chief is essentially a one-man army already, so putting him in a specialized Silver Ranger suit would be a game-changer.
Chief’s stoic nature would make him the perfect "special operative" Ranger who arrives just when the team is about to lose. His Zord would naturally be a Warthog-Zord or even a massive Pelican-Zord that can transport the rest of the team. If you’ve been keeping up with IGN’s gaming news, you know that the hype for legendary sci-fi icons is still going strong in 2026.
6. Kim Possible – The Pink Ranger

"Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me." Kim Possible is the ultimate "teenager with attitude." She’s already doing the hero thing while balancing high school, which is literally the job description for a Power Ranger.
As the Pink Ranger, Kim would bring her gadgetry and cheerleading-inspired martial arts to the team. Her weapon would be an energy-based bow (a classic Pink Ranger staple) and her Zord would be a Naked Mole Rat-Zord… okay, maybe a Cheetah-Zord to match her speed and agility. She’s smart, capable, and already has a tech-support guy (Wade) who could definitely hack into the Morphin’ Grid.
5. Izuku Midoriya (Deku) – The Green Ranger
From My Hero Academia, Deku is the quintessential underdog who works harder than anyone else. His "One For All" power is essentially a Morphin' Grid level of energy. As the Green Ranger, Deku would be the team's strategist, constantly muttering and taking notes on enemy weaknesses. His suit would need to be reinforced to handle his power surges, and his Zord would be a Rabbit-Zord capable of massive jumps and powerful kicks.
4. Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) – The Yellow Ranger
Buffy is "The Chosen One," a role that feels very much in line with the Ranger legacy. As a Yellow Ranger, Buffy would bring her expert hand-to-hand combat skills and her dry wit to the team. She’s used to working with a "Scooby Gang," so she understands the importance of the team dynamic. Her Zord would be a Wolf-Zord, fierce and relentless in the hunt.
3. Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) – The Blue Ranger (Again!)
We know, we already have a Blue Ranger, but Leo is a classic choice. We’ve actually seen the TMNT/Power Rangers crossover in the comics, and it remains one of the best things ever. Leonardo’s discipline and leadership make him a perfect fit for a secondary commander role. His Turtle-Zord would be the tank of the group, providing heavy defense for the Megazord.
2. Daredevil (Matt Murdock) – The Black Ranger
With Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trending right now, Matt Murdock is back in the spotlight. As a Black Ranger, his heightened senses would give the team an edge they’ve never had before. He doesn't need to see the enemy to hit them. His Ranger gear would include a specialized helmet that enhances his radar sense, and his Zord would be a Bat-Zord (wait, wrong hero?): let’s go with a Doberman-Zord for his relentless tracking abilities.
1. Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) – The Red Ranger (Veteran Leader)
If you need someone to lead a team of multiversal legends, you call Diana of Themyscira. While Miles is the "rookie" Red, Diana would be the "Commander" Red. Her Amazonian training and divine weapons would make her the most powerful Ranger to ever exist. Her Zord would be a Pegasus-Zord, a majestic flying beast that forms the core of the ultimate Megazord.
Trending Pop Culture News: May 2026 Update
While we're dreaming of crossovers, let's look at what's actually happening in the real world (and the cinematic ones!):
- Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 2026): IGN is reporting that this film will be a "street-level reset" for Peter Parker. Fans are excited to see a more grounded Spidey, but we’re secretly hoping for a Miles Morales cameo that sets up his own solo trilogy.
- Avengers: Doomsday: The hype is real. With Robert Downey Jr. returning in a new, darker role, fans are speculating how this will lead into the next phase of the MCU. Could we see a multiversal team that looks as cool as our Ranger list? One can hope!
- DC’s Lanterns Series: Over at Max, the Lanterns series is finally giving us the "True Detective in Space" vibe we’ve wanted. It’s a great year for heroes who wear color-coded uniforms and use energy-based weapons!
Why We Love the Crossover Talk
At The Fan Club, we believe that being a fan is a lifestyle. Whether you’re collecting the latest Lightning Collection figures or debating the latest MCU theories, you’re part of a community that celebrates imagination.
Power Rangers taught us that anyone can be a hero if they have the heart and the team to back them up. Seeing these pop culture icons through the lens of a Ranger team reminds us why we fell in love with these stories in the first place.
What do you think? Who did we miss? Should Saitama be the "Gold Ranger" who finishes every fight in one punch? Should Wednesday Addams be the "Purple Ranger"?
