Episode 7 of Armorsaurs hit different, and honestly, it might be one of the best episodes yet. "Choose Your Weapons" packed so much into one episode that I'm still processing everything that went down. Let's dive into this wild ride.
Nightmares and Bad Vibes
The episode kicks off with Prisca having what can only be described as the nightmare to end all nightmares. We're talking full-on tossing and turning, sweating, the whole deal. Paloma, being the good teammate she is, checks on her friend. When Prisca wakes up, she's shaken – and I mean really shaken. She tells Paloma it felt "so real," which in a show about armored dinosaurs fighting aliens, that's saying something.
The Professor does a quick check-up and declares Prisca physically fine, but everyone can see the team is running on empty. The pilots are exhausted, and even their raptor partners are dragging. It's clear they need some serious rest, but of course, that's not happening anytime soon.

Training Day Goes Wrong
Enter Kernel Helmsworth with what sounds like a reasonable idea: train the pilots to fight without their dinosaurs. Makes sense, right? If something happens to their prehistoric partners, they need to be able to defend themselves. So she has them morph up and hands out some serious hardware.
The weapon distribution was actually pretty cool:
- Paloma gets nunchucks (totally fits her style)
- Presca gets a stick (simple but effective)
- Liam scores a sword (classic choice)
- Joon gets a bow (precision weapon for a precision guy)
- TJ gets an axe (because why not go full Viking?)
But here's where things get weird. During training, Presca starts having dizzy spells and headaches. Being the tough cookie she is, she doesn't want to quit, but the Professor and Kernel Helmsworth are getting worried. And they should be, because every time Presca gets a headache, the ground literally shakes.
When Everything Goes Sideways
The connection between Presca's headaches and the earthquakes becomes impossible to ignore when she has another episode that's way worse than the others. This headache doesn't just shake the ground – it rocks the entire facility, kills the power, and somehow manages to let all the dinosaurs loose. Every single one of them bolts into the desert.
But here's the kicker: Presca could sense their fear right before it all went down. There's definitely something supernatural happening with her connection to these creatures, and it's both amazing and terrifying.

Meanwhile, in the Villain Lair
Cut to Switchblade having what's probably the worst performance review ever. The big boss (we still don't know his name at this point) is absolutely furious that Switchblade keeps failing. The threats are real – get Sue (John's brother) and those dinosaurs, or get replaced and destroyed. No pressure, right?
The boss wants those dinosaurs bad, and Switchblade's running out of chances to deliver. You can feel the desperation radiating from this scene, which makes what happens next even more intense.
Desert Rescue Mission
With their dinosaur partners scattered across the desert, the team has no choice but to suit up and head out to find them. This is where we learn something huge: those Nero connectors in Presca's helmet aren't just causing the earthquakes – they're also letting her communicate directly with the raptors.
It's like she's become some kind of dinosaur whisperer, which explains why she could sense their fear before they ran. This ability is going to be crucial, but first, they have to survive what's coming.

The Fight Scene We've Been Waiting For
Just when you think they might actually have a peaceful rescue mission, Switchblade shows up with an entire army of robots. And this is where the episode really delivers – we finally get to see the team fight with their new weapons and no dinosaur backup.
This sequence was honestly incredible. Each pilot got to show off their weapon skills, and you could tell the animators put some serious work into making each fighting style unique. Paloma's nunchuck work was smooth, Liam's swordplay was precise, and TJ's axe swinging was just brutal in the best way.
But then things get real when a super robot shows up and starts absolutely wrecking the team. This isn't just any robot – this thing is powerful enough to take on all five pilots at once and win.
The Mind Reader
The super robot's most terrifying moment comes when it grabs Joon and starts trying to download information from his suit or read his mind directly. The implications here are scary – if the enemy can access their thoughts or suit data, the whole operation could be compromised.
Thankfully, Paloma comes through in the clutch, using her flying cycle to take out the robot and save Joon. It's one of those moments that reminds you why this team works so well together – they've got each other's backs no matter what.

Presca's Sacrifice
While all this is happening, Presca is dealing with another massive headache, but this time it looks like she's actively trying to contact the raptors. The strain is too much though, and she passes out from the pain.
Seeing her hooked up to machines back at the base was tough, but at least the Professor confirms she's going to be okay. Kernel Helmsworth's pride in the team for stepping up without their dinosaurs feels well-earned – they proved they can handle themselves even when everything goes wrong.
The Big Reveal
Now here's the part that nobody saw coming: the last two minutes turn into a full K-pop music video. And I'm not talking about some throwaway sequence – this thing is professionally produced with clips from the show and a genuinely catchy song.
But the real bombshell comes when they name every character in the music video, including the big villain we've been wondering about this whole time. His name is Karter Klay. We still don't know much about him, but finally having a name for the mastermind behind everything feels like a huge step forward.

What This Episode Means
"Choose Your Weapons" managed to advance pretty much every major storyline while delivering some of the best action sequences we've seen so far. Presca's evolving abilities, the team's growth as fighters, and the reveal of Karter Klay all set up what should be an incredible rest of the season.
The balance between character development and pure spectacle was perfect here. We got to see the pilots pushed to their limits, both physically and emotionally, while also getting some seriously cool fight scenes and that unexpected K-pop ending.
If this episode is any indication of where Armorsaurs is heading, we're in for one hell of a ride. The stakes keep getting higher, the characters keep getting more interesting, and the action just keeps getting better.
